What's On Your Nightstand - January

What's On Your Nightstand

For February:

From December's Nightstand:

I also read:

  • Mrs. Tim Carries On by D.E. Stevenson - The second book in the Mrs. Tim Christie series. This has been an enjoyable series so far.
  • The Story Girl  by L.M. Montgomery - I picked up The Story Girl since it was late at night and I couldn't get my hands on my pile of books in my own bedroom so I pulled this off of my daughter's shelf. It has been a long time since I read this and it was a worthwhile re-read.
  • Gates & Fences: Straight Talk in a Crooked World by Lori Wagner - Reading for my Sunday School class.

 I listened to:

  1. Do More Better sounds like a book I would enjoy reading. But yeah, doing it is another matter. ha. I always have good intentions; does that count? :) I have actually done lots of reorganizing this month of my digital photos so I'll count that as doing more better.

  2. Wodehouse is always fun. So far I don't think I've read Stevenson yet. I have been wanting to get to that one by LMM.

  3. I need to add some Wodehouse to my list - I know that I'd enjoy it (just too many books to read!).

The Story Girl was one of my favorites as a teen.

  4. I like your list. :)

By the way, I think it was you who recommended Penrod. I finally picked up a copy and am hoping to get to it sooner, rather than later.

  5. Do More Better is intriguing me as well -- although it makes me feel a little stressed just reading that title! :) Thanks for your Bible reading thoughts at my place -- they were helpful. I'm with you on not liking a plan that divides up chapters. Ack!
