Lots of questions raised in your teaser: What circumstances brought her to a place where she's mopping someone else's floor? What did Colin do that made her so angry? Why did she turn down all those proposals?

An interesting teaser. It's been ages since I read anything by Landis, and this one sounds really good. My teaser: The Descendants by Kaui Hart Hemmings.
