I just got the Clarkson book and have dipping into it. I'm off to read your review of Fair Weather--I love Richard Peck!
ReplyDeleteOops--I see it now--no review, just an Audible link. I liked Faut Weather, but not as much as the Granny Dowdell stories or Here Lies the Librarian. Here's my review of it: http://www.hopeisthewordblog.com/2009/06/19/here-lies-the-librarian-by-richard-peck/
ReplyDeleteNow that I look at my review, I think you've already been there. Oh well! :-)
The Little Women Letters stokes my curiosity ... also, what a good idea that you "read" audio-books each month. I ought to do that rather than have talk radio on all day!
ReplyDeleteI loved Sarah Sundin's books!
ReplyDeleteI've heard about Heiress and am thinking about checking it out.
I read The Little Women Letters this month, too -- I'm afraid I didn't like it very much.
Heiress and The Reluctant Queen both look intriguing - The Little Women Letters is another I'd like to read at some point. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteYou make me want to read another Mrs. Pollifax book!
ReplyDeleteAnd I need to read Educating the Whole Hearted Child.
I read the last copy of Educating the Wholehearted Child, lots of good info in there.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your reading,
Amy @ Missional Mama
Lots of audiobooks last month!!
ReplyDeleteA Reluctant Queen looks good.
I've heard of Wheel on the School, of course, but I've never read it, and hadn't even thought about reading it in a long time. Thank you for reminding me of it; I think I'll put it on my Goodreads TBR shelf.

The Beauty of Eclecticism
I like the way you did your lists. Thanks for the recommendations.

Ooh, I've been wanting to read Mary Poppins. Somehow I missed the fact that it's not just a movie! ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
