Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesday is hosted by Should be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
•Grab your current read
•Open to a random page

•Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
•BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
•Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

An Irish Country Wedding (Irish Country Books) by Patrick Taylor

Very close veins. Barry hid a smile. Nothing would persuade Aggie, and indeed many Ulsterfolk, to call varicose veins anything else. p. 76

  4. You mean varicose doesn't mean very close? Could have fooled me. :)

  6. Sounds like some people I know. A friend of my mother's always pronounced it "choir practor" and nothing and no-one could ever convince her it was "ky-rho-practor". Sounds like a good series--enjoy!

  9. Hi Beth,

What some fun teaser lines this week, although personally, I would rather not have either varicose veins, or very close veins, if that's all the same to you!

This is a new series of books to me, however they are going straight on my wish list, if only for the name of the place they are set ... Ballybucklebo ... I can just imagine how the locals would pronounce that one!!

    Thanks for sharing,

    Yvonne
