An Irish Country Wedding (Irish Country Books) by Patrick Taylor
Very close veins. Barry hid a smile. Nothing would persuade Aggie, and indeed many Ulsterfolk, to call varicose veins anything else. p. 76
Ha! Funny teaser!

I love these books. I haven't read the wedding one yet.
ReplyDeleteThat made me smile...I would probably pick this one up because I love all things Irish.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Here's MY TUESDAY MEMES POST
You mean varicose doesn't mean very close? Could have fooled me. :)
ReplyDeleteFunny teaser. I enjoy this kind of word play.
ReplyDeleteMy Teaser is from SCARLET NIGHTS.
Sounds like some people I know. A friend of my mother's always pronounced it "choir practor" and nothing and no-one could ever convince her it was "ky-rho-practor". Sounds like a good series--enjoy!
ReplyDeleteVery funny teaser. Its awesome that they call varicose veins, very close veins. Looks like an interesting read. Thanks for sharing and visiting my teaser Tuesday. =]
ReplyDeleteCute teaser.

Hi Beth,
ReplyDeleteWhat some fun teaser lines this week, although personally, I would rather not have either varicose veins, or very close veins, if that's all the same to you!
This is a new series of books to me, however they are going straight on my wish list, if only for the name of the place they are set ... Ballybucklebo ... I can just imagine how the locals would pronounce that one!!
Thanks for sharing,
Yvonne
your teaser makes me want to read this book. Thank you for stopping by my blog.
