It is that time of year that Carrie at Reading to Know host the L.M. Montgomery Reading Challenge. This is a reading challenge I've participated in since its beginning and it is one I look forward to doing every year. For this year I have plan to read:
Jane of Lantern Hill
and listen to the audio of
Anne of Green Gables .
If I have more time I may delve into what ever other Montgomery book that calls my name. I also checked out from the library Looking For Anne: How Lucy Maud Montgomery Dreamed Up a Literary Classic by Irene Gammel, though if I get it finished will depend on time and if it holds my interest.
I love it when everyone chooses different titles to read. (We all learn more that way.) You're the first Jane of Lantern Hill I've seen this year. And I've not heard of the non-fiction book you found. If it DOES hold your interest, I can't wait to hear about it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along. Again. ;D
I picked up Looking for Anne last year, but I'm now hesitant to peek inside, since I've only read the first Anne book. I'm guessing there will be spoilers. I'm looking forward to your thoughts on it, too, if it keeps your attention! :)
