Teaser Tuesday

    I've enjoyed so many Sherlock Holmes movies, as well as the series on public broadcasting, but I've never read this book! Guess I'd better do something about that. Thanks for posting a teaser from it.

    I want to know who this woman is! It's such a frustrating teaser. For me anyway. Maybe this is my excuse to read Sherlock Holmes XD

    Hi Beth,

    I have only read a couple of Holmes's adventures, although I am an avid follower of the films and television adaptations.

    Given his many eccentricities, I guess I really shouldn't be surprised that anyone female should be known as THE woman. I can just hear him saying it, although it isn't really very flattering!
