Teaser Tuesday is hosted by Should be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
•Grab your current read
•Open to a random page
•Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
•BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
•Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
An Infamous Army - Georgette Heyer
I am still reading the same book as last week (sigh), but I am coming in close to finishing it off. Here is my teaser:
"I cannot conceive what possessed George to look twice at her. She is quite insipid." p. 453
I think we may think that about a guy or two that we know. How do they choose their women? We may never know this mystery.
ReplyDeletePlease do stop by for a crumpet & a spot of tea.
If you enjoy yourself please do leave a comment on some of my reviews.
They are lonely :(

Oooh, love that teaser, feisty! And don't we all secretly think that type of thing at one time or another. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! Great teaser, looks really interesting!

That's cute!!
ReplyDeleteMy teaser this week is from ‘Imitation In Death’ by J. D. Robb
Sometimes it's nice not to rush through books though. I hope you're enjoying it, even if you never finished it last week. I like the teaser! It definitely has me interested in knowing more. :)
ReplyDeleteMy teaser is from the wonderful and mysterious novel The Night Circus.
Sounds like something Georgette Heyer would write. I haven't read this one. I'll have to see if I can get my hands on a copy.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Men. Great teaser. Thanks for sharing. If you get a chance, my teaser is here.
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess if he's describing her as "insipid," he may be looking below the surface a bit.
