The Happiness Project: Or, Why I Spent a Year Trying to Sing in the Morning, Clean My Closets, Fight Right, Read Aristotle, and Generally Have More Fun by Gretchen Rubin - I was close to finishing this book, but I was not enjoying it, so I decided I had a lot of books I would rather read and promptly returned it to the library!

    Hi

    I noticed that you have two books by Gervase Phinn on your stack...I had never heard of this author...the titles looked interesting, so I'm going to check them out.

    I've got The Happiness Project on my TBR (although not for anytime soon)--It'll be interesting to see whether my assessment matches yours or the more enthusiastic review I read a few months back!

    Interesting to hear your concluding decision about The Happiness Project. I think yours is the first more negative (not totally, I realize, but you seemed to not find it all that endearing) remark I have seen on it. And I'm rather glad you stated your opinion on it because I've been wondering whether or not it's worth a read!

    Interesting that you included books you didn't finish...I could do that, too...I started Swan House but just didn't like the tedium of it.
