It IS shor...Hmm..yes, that's a very good point. It IS short, sweet and predictable but that is kind of Montgomery as a whole. Predictably happy (in written life). Anne has more depth of character for certain and yes, I do wish people would start with her as a general rule. <br /><br />Still, I think Kilmeny is worth a read because it is quintessential Montgomery and for those who just want to read something quick - it's a good way to get an initial feel for what to expect - if nothing else. <br /><br />Fun to hear your thoughts!
